Out of The Loop

We had a wonderful family visit at Out of The Loop. We really enjoyed being in Oak Island and the house and ammenities are one of the best we have ever stayed in. We really enjoyed the views and relaxing time on the Beach. Our grandchildren had the best time with lots of fun on the beach and we were able to relax and watch them. This is the ultimate family get away! Thanks to the owners of Out of the Loop for such a warm and hospitable atmosphere.

Favorite Family Activites: We went shelling on the beach every morning and enjoyed fishing at the pier (which is really close to the house). The children enjoyed our walk to the marsh which is only a short distance. We enjoyed going to South Port and taking the Ghost Walking Tour led by Joel. This tour is worth the money and time. Our grandchildren were spell bound by his stories. We had a longer walking tour than the others and really felt like we had a family experience. Joel trained under a local historian and his stories were real and imaginative...

Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: There is a restaurant right there on the beach by the pier. It was a great place for dinner and to relax. (I can't think of its name). But it is located there by the pier. We also purchased trigger fish from the local fish market and that was excellent for the entire family fish fry.
